Another Sunset
The weather has been beautiful lately. Here's some more eye candy to enjoy.
Crawfish Happy Hour
Its that season again...the crawfish are back and it was crawfish happy hour at Kemah Seafood today. Only $2.99/lb and $1.99 beers :) We thought 3lbs would be just enough, but as it turns out our definition of 3lbs was way different from the restaurant's. Clay was almost brought to tears from the 30 different spices that made up the tasty boil.

Hitting the Links
My buddies and I started out our weekly golf outting. Of course, since it was after work and still daylight savings, we didn't get very far before the sunset...but it sure was purty. I guess I have a thing for sunsets :)

HDR
So I was messing around with some High Dynamic Range software the other day, and was able to play around with some of the pictures I took in Europe. Unfortunately, you can only do so much with one raw file. So they were really Psuedo-HDR. But last night I went an created some real HDR photos with 3 actual images underexposed and overexposed to get the proper range.
Here's my psuedo-HDR of Paris...not bad if I say so myself.

Photo Experiment gone wrong
So I heard of this cool idea to set the self timer on a digital camera and then throw it up on the air to see what you get. Well, I think I threw it up a little too high and it came down too fast and slipped right through my hands. Looks like it landed on the lens and jammed the barrel. So I figured I would take it apart and see if I could get it back to normal. What a mistake that was. I guess I didn't really loose anything as the thing was circa 2004 and wasn't even worth the listing fee on ebay.
Mel's Country Cafe Never Disappoints
Another day at Mel's...Beef tips over rice or Pork Chops on stuffing...good home cookin'. And I found this new Twix flavor at the register, so I had to try one. Its got that fake coffee taste, but its not bad.
