WWII Battle Re-enactment
Went out to College Station for a photo club field trip...but I think was the only one that showed up. It was an authentic recreation with restored tanks, half-tracks, jeeps, and motorcycles. Uniforms and weapons from all different branches of the ally and german military. Very cool stuff.

Lowepro ROCKS!
I bought a Lowepro slingshot 200AW camera bag about a month ago and the stitching near the zipper started unraveling. Luckily, they have a lifetime warranty on their products. So I emailed them some pics of the problem, and they shipped me a new one...without having me return the dusty broke down one. What a company. Needless to say, I'm a customer for life.

Maiden Voyage
We skipped out of work early on Friday and took Jeff's new boat out on the lake for its maiden voyage. The first try didn't work so well with a dying battery, and then we couldn't get it started with jump packs. After about 3 hrs of screwing around with it, we found out that the needle valve was stuck and just required some gentle tapping with a wrench to get fuel flowing.

Trip to the Rodeo
Headed down to the Houston Rodeo and Livestock show on its last day. Didn't make it in time to see the horse ropin' and stuff like that, but I did get to enjoy all the girls in denim miniskirts and cowboy boots. Oh yeah, the food was tasty too. I also stopped by the Ford booth and entered some contests to pick up some hot free swag.

Blueberry Patch Cafe
We went to the Blueberry patch cafe for lunch today because of their sweet tea and all you can eat lunch buffet...full of home cooking like Chicken fried steak, chick and dumplings, mashed potatoes, green beans, etc. But it was fully of other good stuff like this.

Erika's ?0th Birthday Party and Crawfish Boil
I left out the first digit because I didn't know how many times my buddy's wife would turn that age :) It was a Saturday full of eating, drinking, and karaoking fun. Even the kids stayed out late...up until the neighbors came out to complain.
