DIY Strip Lights
The perfect use for Adorama tripod shipping boxes. They are just the right dimensions to hold a speedlight at the top and still balance on a flat surface. See the hot examples below. Don't make fun of the model, he's the most expensive I could afford.

Hurricane Gustav Brings Sweet Skies to Houston
Its nice being on the good side of a hurricane. My buddy Doug and I took the chance of setting up for photos and it paid off. It rained for about 10 minutes, and then the clouds parted to this beautiful view below.
