San Angelo Rodeo 2010
Yeeehaw! Its that's time of year again. The San Angelo Livestock and Rodeo is in town. Had to stop by and watch some calf wrestling, trick ropin', and mutton bustin' (that's right, they strap kids to sheep and see how long they can hold on). Rodeo pics.
Lane's Birthday / Dave's House Warming
Dave (one of the new guys that hired on at the same time as me) and his girlfriend Alli threw a little soiree at their new place. I also just happened to coincide with Lane's birthday, so we had some killer Sloppy Joes and Ice cream cake. Good times ensued. There was also mandatory Nerf gun play. See the rest here.

Quick trip to Dallas
I found a buyer for my 40D in Fort Worth, so I decided to take weekend trip up to Dallas to visit Ryan and Nicole. We ate some great food and just hung out for the short time that I was there. Of course, next visit hopefully we all have our houses sold and we'll be partying like its 1999! See the rest of the images here.

My 1D Mark III is HERE!
It took a while...in figurative terms...but I've finally got one of Canon's top of the line pro bodies. Of course, the only reason I have one is because the Mark IV is coming out. These things are going dirt cheap...almost ridiculous prices for what they are.

From the Archives...
Having moved into the new place...I dug up some artifacts from the old days. Here's my trusty Canon EOS 10s film camera. Very advanced for 1993 standards. It had 3 point AF, 5 fps, and a built in flash. Amazing. But it was my go to camera for the longest time. It might find new life in the hands of high school students if I decide to donate it.
