I know it goes against all strobist philosophy, but I was getting sick and tired of constantly trying to judge exposure from the back of my LCD and running around setting flash power, especially in overly bright outdoor conditions. Amazon just happened to have a gold box deal on a basic Sekonic L-308s. Perfect…pulled the trigger and now I have pocketable digital light meter that will help me setup lights quicker. Best part is, it runs off a single AA, so replacements are cheap and plentiful. Images were taken with G12 at the exposure settings in the photo. Taking photos of light meters is easy :)
