Yama had made plans to visit his friend Emily in Vancouver, and since my parents are in Seattle, he asked if I wanted to meet up there. Last time he went, our friend Steve has to bail at the last minute. Yama also didn’t get to see much of Seattle. So I we planned for about 2.5 days in Vancouver and a 1.5 days in Seattle. The trip was pretty fun and food filled. Emily is a foodie and an expert at finding the right places to eat in Vancouver. We went to Granville Island, Grouse Mountain, Aberdeen mall, the Night Market, The Vancouver Aquarium, and Coal Harbor. I had my first experience with Afternoon Tea and a lumberjack competition. We also stumbled across the Mini-Series “Delete” being filmed in downtown. Then we headed back to Seattle to hang out with my parents. We went out for breakfast at the Original Pancake House with my parent, then head went on to Downtown Seattle. I showed Yama Pike Place Market, the waterfront, and the Space Needle…as well as a driving tour of downtown.
Back to Seattle…
